Beaver ALMOST took the bait but tore the trap door off. Now I need to figure how to put the door back together so I can try it again. Maybe second time I will be lucky...

Good quality heavy duty trap that can handle LARGE coons that can and will destroy a lesser duty trap. Had to tweek the trigger a little on one to get it to trip easier (not a problem).

very disapointed in the quality of this trap. the first coon I caught and transported tore the gate off. i did rebuild with heavy materials. definatly not the same quality as my old havahart trap (MAYBE 40 YEARS OLD).

I bought the beaver trap and caught a large beaver. It was in the trap for 3 hours or so before it chewed some of the latches and got out. Does not seem well made.

trap bent, no instructions included? had to bend trip hook to hold trap door caught 2 racoons using cantaloupe, watermelon carrots. trying for ground hogs. will still try using apples now big trap strong and heavy. But maybe a waste of 140.00. not sure ?
I'm not opposed to your products overall, but this one does not work.

The cage that I got does not work. There is an issue with the latch. It will not release properly. I've used several of these traps and never had an issue.
