Chipmunks and Squirrels Could Be Causing the Problem.
Here’s Our 3-Step Solution:

1
Remove Attractants & Shelter
Squirrels and chipmunks frequently visit birdfeeders. Maintain the cleanliness of your yard to avoid attracting these nearby tree-dwellers.
  • Clean up fallen berries, nuts, fruit, birdseed, etc.
  • Place bird feeders at least 15 ft from buildings so that spilled birdseed does not attract squirrels and chipmunks towards your house
  • Replace your birdseed with seed that squirrels and chipmunks dislike, like safflower, thistle, or nyger
Remove attractants & shelter
2
Catch & Remove the
Immediate Issue
The best way to completely remove a squirrel and/or chipmunk is by using a trap to manually relocate it. A small cage trap is best for catching squirrels and chipmunks.

Use Repellents to Make Them
Unwelcome to Return
Applying a powerful animal repellent will help prevent destruction to bird feeders. Spray repellent around the feeders and any other areas you want to protect.
