How do you set up he 1026 trap

Please follow the steps below to set this trap -
1. Turn the Door Lock to the open position.
2. Holding the door open, place the bait behind the Trip Plate.
3. Remove the Trigger Rod from the top of the trap. Attach the plastic end to the Trigger Rod Connection.
4. Press down on the assembled Trigger Rod. Meanwhile, lift the Trip Plate Trigger and gently position the flat end of the Trigger Rod under the Trip Plate Trigger so the door is held open and the Trip Plate is level.
5. Close the Door Lock by resting it on top of the door.

Could you tell me how the hinged door is going inside?, it has a spring that I don't know how it goes, a chipmunk disassembled it and I need to reassemble it, thank you very much!!!! If you have an image, it would be better, thank you very much!! i´m from Mexico.

If traps are damaged, it is our recommendation that the trap be replaced so it does not unintentionally injure future catches. Images are available on our website.

My door is misaligned, (something got in it and turned it over and busted out) and the spring on the back is loose, and the door is crooked . Can you please tell me where the spring should be and how to realign the door

Something managed to remove the trigger rod of the trap and took it away. Is the a replacement part. The meyal rod and plastic fitting to connect the door arm and plate arm.

Where can I get a Haveahart Model #1026 Door Trip/Trigger? Its the only loose piece to the cage and I apparently let it loose.

Do you sell parts for this? Specifically the separate rod on the outside that connects the trap door to the lever on the plate.

Why aren’t there replacement parts. Doesn’t seem right to have to buy a new trap because you lost one part. I need a trigger rod for small 1door trap. Thanks.
