Set and Release with One Hand
Set this humane trap in 1 simple step: pull on the Easy Set® lever to open the doors, and the trap's ready for a catch. Or, set it as a 1-door trap by releasing the cable from the offset loop, and pulling the lever to the open position. Use the lever again to release the animal while standing away from the trap opening - clear of the exit path.
Enlarged Hand Guard and Carrying Handle Protect You
An enlarged steel plate covers the entire width of the top of the trap, protecting your hand from contact with the animal, and the updated, rigid plastic carrying handle makes the handling experience even more comfortable for you.
Safe, Rolled Metal Edges Protect the Animal
Just like the Havahart® squirrel trap you've relied on for years, this one is constructed of one-piece wire mesh, galvanized for resistance to rust and corrosion. And edges are polished smooth to protect the animal from injuring itself during transport or as it struggles to escape.
No-Escape Door Locks Give You Peace of Mind
Two tightly spring-loaded doors feature updated door locks and added reinforcements, making your squirrel trap more escape-proof than ever.
A Two-Door Trap is Quick and Versatile
A two-door trap allows you to create a clear path from one end of the trap to the other by setting it with both ends open. Place this two-door trap against a wall or along an animal's path in order to capture it as it travels from either direction. With two doors open, a skunk or rabbit must step on the trigger plate to reach the bait and make it through to the other side, resulting in a catch.

Review RateExcellent product
OK I hate writing reviews but now I must. I have caught 3 rabbits within 5 days. It took some patience and I used gloves so that my scent would not scare them away but the trap works., Relocated them 6 miles away in a field. I used dried apples from Walmart for bait and transported them in a 27 gallon storage container from home depot. the container is large enough for the entire trap but I had to drive fast because it had no air holes.
Review RateMost rewarding purchase.
Fruit bearing trees and plants in my yard. Suffered heaviliy when neighbors removed their own plants. Upon questioning neighbors. The over all problem was pests biting unripe fruit on plants. And no one witnessed the carnage. Didn't matter the where the plant was located. If it beared fruit it was mangled. Id prefer another identical trap instead of money.
Review RateI was very pleased. The easy set trap worked great
I found that placing the bait in the rear of the trap and closing one door helped a great deal. The squirrel was forced to trip the lever going in or going out. I used peanut butter on crackers and attached it to the ceiling of the cage. I caught two squirrels. One of the squirrels had been on my roof and trying to get in my attic. I placed the trap by a drain pipe he was using to access my roof. I caught him the first day I used the trap.
Review RateHavahart is a great choice for a live trap.
I worked for a conservation agency and used your traps to remove and relocate a variety of animals. I have purchased two of your quickset traps and have had excellent success.
Review RateNASTY RABBIT.
I have not used this yet. I planted a large number of spring bulbs, and I know the rabbits will be on the attack I will be waiting to bring them to their new home about Ten miles away...
Review RateCritter\'s BewareI catch 80 to 100 critters a year with my HAVAHART trap. In fact, I bragged to my neighbors so much about my success, someone stole my trap right out of my backyard. Now I have a new one (chained to a tree) and am looking forward to continuing my success.
Review RateNo surpiseThis is my second Havahart trap. No surprises at the top quality of the material or workmanship. Had a little trouble with the auto set for setting a single door. An email with my problem,,, an email back and now working fine.
Review Rate2 door medium w\\easy setupI bough it in September 2016.
Very easy to use.
I got two animals so far. I think my backyard is now clear.
Review RateExcellent Service & ProductI knew about the design but did not know the company and am delighted the quality and effectiveness of the trap in action. The company also provided excellent service in the purchase and delivery process. I am a big fan!
Review RateGreat for All Types of Large RodentsMy wife and I have over 20 squirrels roaming our yard so we bought this trap. In the beginning we had it on the ground with nuts in the trap and caught 2 possums that way. We also caught a rat, but rats can eventually wiggle their way out so you have to keep on the lookout if you are using this trap for rats, to make sure you find them in time. Best yet, once we figured a way to set the trap on the side of a wood fence and used potato chips as bait, we've been catching the squirrels that we initially wanted to catch. The trap works wonders.. you can open both sides or just use one. We typically just open one end and found that works the best because the squirrels don't eat the bait from one side then move to the other side to eat the rest. When you leave only one side open they are forced to trip the trap.
