Repel with Smell and Taste - Dual Action Formula

Critter Ridder® is a patented blend of ingredients derived from three different hot peppers that immediately irritates an animal's senses of smell and taste upon encounter. This overwhelming sensation sends critters running, and after a couple of unwelcome visits, the animals associate it with your yard and learn to stay away. Critter Ridder®’s unique formula delivers two times the layers of protection of other animal repellents, and it’s proven to work.

One Application Lasts Up to 30 Days

Critter Ridder® delivers a longer-lasting defense. Just one application of this unique rain-resistant animal repellent provides up to 30 days of protection.

A Little Bit of Critter Ridder® Goes a Long Way

Sprinkle Critter Ridder® granules along garden pathways or around the perimeter of your flowerbeds to deter pests from entering. Or, for a more targeted approach, spot-treat areas of grass, flowerpots and more with just a sprinkle. For multi-surface protection like garbage cans, bird feeders and other hard surfaces, Critter Ridder® Ready-To-Use is an ideal solution.

Critter Ridder® Animal Repellent Granular is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works (so far)!!! I had seen 2 skunks come out of a hole under our rear concrete patio at night a week ago. I bought Critter Ridder 5 days ago and partially filled the hole including some sticks planted vertically to be able to tell if the skunks entered or left the hole. I sprinkled a pile of Critter Ridder across to front of the hole and around the immediate area. The first morning the sticks were knocked over indicating that an animal(s) had left the hole. I replanted the sticks with a 1/2 inch deep pile of Critter Ridder across the front of the hole. Nothing has entered or left the hole since the first morning. I think and hope the skunks are gone for good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Repells Fast This is my secondyear with Critter Ridder. We used it in front, when we put in lawn. Racoons were rolling back new sod and eating worms. ONE application, and they stopped. It really lasts through rain too. I reapply after 30 days. No more trouble. Then I got creative: When I put snail bait out, I noticed the huge crows were dining on it, so I used a little Critter Ridder along with snail bait, and do not have ANY more crows snacking. We just put lawn in back, had racoons come and roll back sod--applied Cridder Ridder, once, around whole yard, and no more problems! Hence, this review: A++++++++++++++++

Rated 1 out of 5 by from does not work this does not work its like putting salt and pepper on there salad. Every two nights they roll back the same spot in my lawn after I add the critter ridder the night before. Its eather skunks or raccoons some night critter. A total waste of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This stuff is great The rabbits were making us crazy. They were chewing up all the flowers and thought our house was the local "salad bar". Then I found Critter Ridder. It really works. They leave my flowers alone and I'm happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works! It is the only thing that helps deter groundhogs. I sprinkle it along the perimeter fence where they dig under and around the plants they seem to prefer (petunias, bachelor buttons, mums). You do need to refresh it every 3-4 weeks, but that it is worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Critter Ridder Review Finally I've found something to keep my neighbor's cat away from my garden!!!! This is the most amazing and safe product I've seen in all my frustation years of planting and pulling dead plants due to cat's urine. I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from IT WORKS! We put up with skunks under our deck for years. Then I saw this stuff at our garden shop, tried it and no more skunks. PTL!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Stuff! This worked great. Neighbors have cats who loved using ourlandscaping for litter boxes. While this was effective, there was not ONE area where they moved mulch and dug out a potty! We knew right away when we had to reapply. Keeps us on good terms with our neighbors.

We have a problem with squirrels chewing underneath our car. Our car is parked on pavement outside. Will the critter ridder stay on pavement, or just wash away with the next rain?

Asked by: Cwhitmer16
Critter Ridder® is not recommended for use on pavement. We recommend sprinkling the product around the border of the area you are trying to protect.

Can I use critter ridder in a garden to keep chipmunks from my tomatoes?

Asked by: mynorimages
Our granular Critter Ridder® works well to deter chipmunks. It can be placed around the perimeter of the garden, but should not be applied directly to the plants.

Does the smell offend people or just animals. My problem is raccoons and cats. Male cats spray and raccoons are destructive.

Asked by: Carterfuneral
Once applied, the product does not have a strong smell to humans, however it will repel the target animals for up to 30 days.

Hi, we have backyard chickens that are kept in a coop and run, but i think they are attracting skunks as we have recently seen a couple around our backyard - even during the day while kids are out playing. How often do you need to apply critter ridder?

Asked by: Ross
We recommend reapplying this product every 30 days, or after a heavy rain.

I believe e have neighborhood cats using our lawn as a litter box.  I would like to try this product.  If I apply it along our property line how wide, in inches,  should the application be to be effective?  Our property line is about 100 feet.

Asked by: topgum
We recommend applying this product at a rate of 0.25 lbs per 15 square feet. The band should be wide enough to ensure that the cats are coming in contact with the treated area.
