Designed for You by Trapping Professionals
The Havahart® X-Small 2-Door Live Animal Trap was designed and tested in the field by trapping professionals. This trap is built to target and trap the smallest critters with ease. Thanks to the trap's careful construction, small animals cannot outsmart this mouse trap. The trip plate is sensitive enough that even the lightest animals like voles and mice can effectively trigger the metal door closed. The mesh openings of the cage are smaller than competing traps, so these little critters cannot steal the bait.
Safe for You and the Animal
A live trap is a humane tool for eliminating these tiny varmints from your home or property, and Havahart® makes the process safe for both you and the animal.
For You: Solid doors and hand guards protect you from contact with a trapped animal.
For the Animal: A strong door lock keeps the animal safely inside the cage, while smooth, rolled internal trap edges prevent injuries during transport.
A Two-Door Trap is Effective and Versatile
This two-door live mouse trap allows you to create a clear path from one end of the cage to the other. This clear line of sight is reassuring to the animal and increases your odds of a catch. Place a two-door trap against a wall or along an animal's path in order to capture it as it travels from either direction. Or choose to set the trap with only one door open, and place it in front of an entryway to catch mice, shrews or voles as they venture inside.
Havahart® Traps are Built to Last
Havahart® builds traps with premium materials intended to endure harsh weather and unpredictable critters. This vole and mouse cage trap is made with galvanized steel for optimum resistance against rust and corrosion, ensuring many uses and a long trap life.

Review RateGreat product
I have been using Havahart traps for years and I am so happy there are those who care enough to make such a product instead of glue traps and traps that electrocute animals. I am hoping these work out because the place is currently using glue traps to kill mice. I am glad they are giving this a change but they need to find out where they are coming in because they will always have a problem.
Review RateVery humane
I haven’t used them yet because the little critters that had found their way into my pantry disappeared before the traps even arrived! If they should happen to return, at least I’ll have them on hand. It’s great to have an alternative to poison or death-traps. Thank you Havahart for having a heart!
They are a great answer to someone who can't kill anything. They work well. I've used them for many years.
Review RateGreat Result!
The traps worked really well. We caught 5 mice in the span of a week. It's been a week since the last catch and, we haven't seen any mice or any signs of them since then. The traps are a little sensitive to set just right, and each only catches one mouse at a time. Other than that, they are great.
Review RateWorked perfectly
We had a mouse in our pantry. We didn't want to kill the little guy but wanted him gone. We bought the trap and set it on the pantry floor with peanut butter on a cracker as bait. Sometime during the second night we caught him. He was chilling out still eating his snack when we discovered him. He seemed to enjoy his new little home. I took him to a field a few miles away and turned him loose. No muss, no fuss. Great trap.
I had 4 traps and just bought 2 more. Work great. I have to slightly flatten the trigger mechanism with a file, or it's a bit tricky to set, other than that they work great, really well built. I've had my originals for 10 years at least.

These really work! We catch the mice, who are not harmed. Once you get the knack of setting them, they are easy to use. And the company is very helpful.
Review RateCaught my elusive mouse after everything else failed.
I have had a mouse in my house for several weeks.I tried regular mouse traps ,new mouse traps, bait poison , and sticky pads.We found mouse droppings munched food, and a nest.I finally placed a camera near some peanut butter and chocolate and caught the mouse snacking. After purchasing a X-small 2-door trap I placed the peanut butter on one end that I left closed and caught the mouse within a few days.My wife is very pleased with me!
Review RateGreat way to catch mice without hurting them.
Fantastic trap. I've got the 1020 and have used it for years now. I had to learn the best way to set it ... only use one door, but that's fine. Seems if I set both doors, the mouse would manage to escape. So, I set one door (one side is easier to set than the other), put the peanut butter on the far side of the trip tray, and am pretty much guaranteed to catch a mouse. In fact, one morning I woke to a whole family! Turned out I had caught a pregnant female who gave birth while in the trap. Took them all to the abandoned house across the way (which was probably why I had so many mice to begin with) and let them get on with their lives -- out of my life.

Caught the mouse in the garage with a small Havahart Trap. That is why they call it Havahart. I don't like killing living creatures. I have the title guy as a pet. He loves his free food and water. And his enclosed sleeping quarters (a small box with soft tissues)........
