Designed for You by Trapping Professionals
The Havahart® X-Small 2-Door Live Animal Trap was designed and tested in the field by trapping professionals. This trap is built to target and trap the smallest critters with ease. Thanks to the trap's careful construction, small animals cannot outsmart this mouse trap. The trip plate is sensitive enough that even the lightest animals like voles and mice can effectively trigger the metal door closed. The mesh openings of the cage are smaller than competing traps, so these little critters cannot steal the bait.
Safe for You and the Animal
A live trap is a humane tool for eliminating these tiny varmints from your home or property, and Havahart® makes the process safe for both you and the animal.
For You: Solid doors and hand guards protect you from contact with a trapped animal.
For the Animal: A strong door lock keeps the animal safely inside the cage, while smooth, rolled internal trap edges prevent injuries during transport.
A Two-Door Trap is Effective and Versatile
This two-door live mouse trap allows you to create a clear path from one end of the cage to the other. This clear line of sight is reassuring to the animal and increases your odds of a catch. Place a two-door trap against a wall or along an animal's path in order to capture it as it travels from either direction. Or choose to set the trap with only one door open, and place it in front of an entryway to catch mice, shrews or voles as they venture inside.
Havahart® Traps are Built to Last
Havahart® builds traps with premium materials intended to endure harsh weather and unpredictable critters. This vole and mouse cage trap is made with galvanized steel for optimum resistance against rust and corrosion, ensuring many uses and a long trap life.

Review RatePoor product
Purchased two weeks ago and am totally sorry I did, three mouse size traps and all three had bait eaten with no mouse. Then I figured out the drop down doors aren't heavy enough and the mice nudge under.Response From Havahart®Patty : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateSturdy and effectiveI bought this a few weeks ago when I discovered mice in my basement. The product arrived the next day! I caught four mice in as many days and haven't seen any since. Was able to let them go in a nearby field rather than killing them or worse, injuring them as has happened with snap traps in the past. Setting the trap is a bit tricky, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy.
Review RateWorked very quickly! After 2 weeks of trying to catch a mouse in our house with other (plastic) cruelty-free traps, we decided to try the Havahart traps based on a recommendation from a coworker. Within 5-10 minutes of setting the trap, the mouse was caught (not an exaggeration!!). The trap did not injure the mouse at all and we let him go far away from our house. GREAT product that worked quickly and efficiently.
Review RateThe only mouse trap that doesn\'t let the mouse outWithin only 3 weeks I had caught more than 25 mice without injuring them. My seeds and seedlings were saved and I am very pleased with these traps.
Review RateWorks good after slight modificationSetting the trap was difficult as the two rods were not flat enough. so had to rasp(file)them a bit and now works fine. One of the locking bars fell off..cant find it. so be careful. Otherwise have caught mice almost every night!
Review RateEven the Mice love it!Excellent trap...much better than the plastic ones I've purchased which wear out quickly. It was a little hard to set, but the YouTube video helped me figure it out. I set only one door open and it seems to work best for me. The former captives are now enjoying life in our workshop.
Review RateWorked!Caught the little varmint the first night.
Review RateWish they\'d last longerYour live traps are the only ones we'll buy, they are in general really very good. Our only complaint is that they seem to wear out quickly. By quickly I mean that we use the small ones all year but that's all the time they last before the mice get out easily. The larger ones seem to do better, we use them for half a year, and they last 2-3 years before the traps no longer work properly. In all, they are still the only brand we'll purchase.
Review RateThese really work greatI have had a huge increase in rodents this summer and finally I have found a solution. There are still a few very smart rodents running around, but I caught over dozen in two days.
Review RatetroublesI have been able to catch some mice and voles, but trap is a frustrating to set. Tiger is to sensitive for the elderly.
