I thought the weather was going to make this garden product useless this summer. All it has been doing is raining in my area, and I have not been able to get out and spray my roses with this product the recommended every 5 to 7 days. I also was worried that what I did spray on was washing off pretty quickly. But black spot had already started appearing on the lower part of some of my plants and the aphids were at work, so I figured I'd give it a go, even if I couldn't follow the directions completely.

After only a month, I have wonderful blooms on my plants. The fungus seems to have receded (still need to trim some leaves off). And the aphids are nowhere to be found. On the plant that was affected the worst, new shoots have come out and buds are starting to form. I have used no other product on these roses, so I have to say the good effects have been due to Safer. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is that you are supposed to cover both sides of the leaves, but the spray nozzle doesn't make that easy at all. I found my self in all kinds of weird positions trying to get the bottoms of the leaves. A more versatile spray nozzle would be a definite plus here.

Otherwise, this is a good product and, from the words on the label, good for the environment too.
