This easy-to-use Japanese beetle trap attracts the destructive beetles and keeps them away from your roses and raspberry bushes!

The Safer® Brand Japanese beetle trap uses a food and sex attractant to lure insects into the trap and disrupt the mating cycle of said insect. A controlled release system maximizes the life of the attractant and protects the attractant from environmental degradation.

Why did I wait so long? June 19, 2010

Over the last couple years, the Japanese Beetles have been increasing exponentially. After reading over that time that traps of this type do not work well, I had not tried any. Yesterday I broke down and bought 3. I placed them at 10:30 AM, 89°F, when movement is supposed to be low. In just over two hours, two of the traps were full and the third 3/4 full (further away.) I don't know about long term effect, but the short term effect is obviously going to give my fruit trees and berries a chance to produce, and has already vastly reduced the breeding population. So far, a GREAT product; simple and effective.

These traps work great. I had a serious mole problem along with tree's being defoliated. I tried them last year and was glad I did! The mole problem is drastically reduced in the area that the traps were. I am buying more for 2010 and am expanding the area that to catch even more. Thank You for a great product Safer Brand!
