Havahart® Deer Off® animal repellent has a patented Dual Deterrent System  formula that provides both scent and taste barriers to repel deer, rabbits, and squirrels.  The formula contains putrescent eggs solids at 6.25% (0.78% when diluted), garlic and capsaicin.  The putrescent egg and garlic scent, coupled with a hot pepper taste will dissuade deer, rabbit, and squirrels from eating your plants, bulbs, flowers, trees, ornamentals and seedlings. 

Deer Off® 128oz. concentrate makes 8 gallons of weather resistant ready-to-use formula, which is enough to treat 1,600 ornamental shrubs four feet tall or approximately 14,000 sq. ft. of plantings.  When applied as directed, this animal repellent lasts up to 90 days.  More frequent application may be necessary where animal pressure is heavy. 

Deer Off® animal repellent is EPA registered for direct use on plants, bulbs, flowers and trees. It should not leave a visible film or residue and will not change the color of plants and foliage.  Made in the USA.

ANIMAL REPELLING FAQs

           Q:    Will liquid repellents work in cold temperatures? 

 A:   Yes - If the product is sprayed before temperatures drop below 40 degrees. A liquid repellent can
         freeze and cause damage to the plant, if sprayed on a plant at temperatures below 40 degrees.
         In the winter months, use granular repellent to keep critters away. 

          Q:   Can you use your Deer Repellents on deciduous trees? 

A:   Yes.  Use as directed.  Some deciduous trees may be sensitive and some leaf drop may occur
        initially without perminemt harm to the tree.  Test in a small area and wait 24 hours before full
       application.

          Q:   Do you need to reapply animal repellents after it  rains?

A:  Yes, if there was a heavy downpour or within 24 hours of spraying.

       Liquid Repellents - If spray is used in wet conditions or in damp, cold, foggy or misty, weather, or if
       precipitation occurs before spray can dry, protection may be partially or completely lost.  Reapply
       after heavy rain.

       Granular Repellents - More frequent application may be necessary during periods of heavy,
       prolonged rainfall.
