Havahart® Deer Off® - the patented Dual Deterrent System formula provides both scent and taste barriers to repel deer, rabbits, and squirrels. The formula contains putrescent eggs solids at 6.25% (0.78% when diluted), garlic and capsaicin. The putrescent egg and garlic scent, coupled with a hot pepper taste will dissuade deer, rabbit, and squirrels from eating your plants, bulbs, flowers, trees, ornamentals, seedlings, edible fruits and vegetables.

Q: Will liquid repellents work in cold temperatures?
A: Yes - If the product is sprayed before temperatures drop below 40 degrees. A liquid repellent can freeze and cause damage to the plant, if sprayed on a plant at temperatures below 40 degrees. In the winter months, use granular repellent to keep critters away.
Q:Can you use your Deer Repellents on deciduous trees?
A: Yes. Use as directed. Some deciduous trees may be sensitive and some leaf drop may occur initially without perminemt harm to the tree. Test in a small area and wait 24 hours before full application.
Q: Do you need to reapply animal repellents after it rains?
A: Yes, if there was a heavy downpour or within 24 hours of spraying.
Liquid Repellents - If spray is used in wet conditions or in damp, cold, foggy or misty, weather, or if precipitation occurs before spray can dry, protection may be partially or completely lost. Reapply after heavy rain.
Granular Repellents - More frequent application may be necessary during periods of heavy, prolonged rainfall.
We live on 10 1/2 acres in the mountains of north central Pennsylvania and the wild life is plentiful, especially the deer and rabbits. I can't say enough about how well Deer Off works.
I have recommended Deer Off to anyone and everyone that complains about the deer destroying their garden.

I live in a heavily wooded area that is heavily populated by deer and other wildlife. Year after year my plants and shrubs have been eaten down to the ground. I have tried another popular deer repellent, but if I didn't apply soon after it rained, the deer would be out there eating all of my plants again. This year I tried Deer Off, and I haven't even had a nibble! I have hostas, and lillies, and roses, and veggies, azaleas, summersweet bushes, all sorts of plants and shrubs tall as can be and flowering beautifully. This is the best product I have ever bought. Neighbors stop by in amazement because the deer have eaten all of their shrubs and flowers. Thank you Havahart, my yard look beautiful for the fist time in four years!
