electronic deer repelant By Mike

The electronic deer stakes have been working well in my yard. Last year at this time all my vegetation was chewed to the ground. I now have a full yard of greenery this year and my yard looks good.

They work better than anything else I have used. By Vergil

I have about 40 of the Havahart electronic deer stakes. Our 1/3rd acre yard and flower garden was featured in the Wichita KS Master Gardener's annual tour last year so keeping the deer out is important. We are located next to a wildlife refuge and with no fence we have to be creative. Maybe because of our large deer population I find that every plant and every shrub I want to protected must have an electronic stake. Staking only the deer entry points does not solve the problem. I have them at entry points and wherever plants are that deer eat. They are effective but each planting bed needs 1 to 3 of the posts. Rain and lawn watering discharges them and washes off the scent. They will recharge after a rain but need new scent applied. Even without rain I re-scent at least once a week. One issue I have found and need to solve is some of the electronic stakes get water into the electronic head. The plastic weld seams or moisture wicking is causing water to get into the heads. Once wet inside some don't work again.

Seems to be working so far By Shellita

Plants have not been eaten since we put the havahart battery operated stakes out, however, we have also been spraying the flowers with a deer repellent spray so can't be sure which is working. It maybe both. It is better than the repellent spray alone.

easy to install By Patience

I hesitated at first ...as I have dealt with deer in my roses for years but I took a chance. There have been no deer for two weeks....I'm running out of the oil mixture but am going to order more of these... what a product!!

Recieved them after deer had mowed down our okra so it's hard to know right now if they work....when corn starts coming we will see if they help!

Sturdy and Easy to Use By Marilynn
I bought this product about a month ago and it came packed very well with no damage to the wires. It was easy to put the poles together. I did have to get a screwdriver to get the cotton balls into the slots but so far no deer damage! I'm crossing my fingers.

Go Away, Bambi !! By NancyO
I haven't had these very long, but so far they seem to be doing the trick! The deer were destroying my fruit trees, and now I can see new growth! I've always had good luck with Havahart products, and I like that they are made in the USA.
