poor quality of the plastic posts By kg

good idea but very bad design and quality. lots of cracks and breaks. water accumulates inside so need to change batteries very frequently. disappointed overall

Take strategy to use and rain interferes with that By Skipjack 6

Did not anticipate that rain will discharge battery fast. Our deer were not really attracted by the scent of lure. Otherwise is a great concept.... will try it again in late winter when deer are really hungry and threaten our landscape specimen plants.

We appreciate the time taken to provide this feedback and apologize for the experience. After a rain, make certain that water has not pooled at the top of the post head. This can cause shorting and prevent the HERD units from properly charging. The lure should be re-applied once a week or right after a rain or snow storm. Cold weather can reduce battery life.
