How do I know what size door to purchase?Be sure to measure your pet. For the height, measure your pet from the floor to the highest point of his shoulders. The flap of the pet door should be at least two inches above the shoulder height. For the width, measure your pet at his widest point and add 1-2 inches. Remember, if your pet is young and will continue to grow, please take that into account. Also take into account the length of your pet’s hair; the width of your pet may be smaller than you measure if your pet has long hair.Date published: 2015-06-05
