Designed For You by Trapping Professionals
The Havahart® Large Collapsible 1-Door Live Animal Trap is designed by trapping experts to be the most effective, convenient and durable trap of its kind. It is carefully constructed with a fine-tuned tripping mechanism that specially targets heavier critters like cats and raccoons - eliminating false triggers - and a powerful trap door that delivers quick, secure captures.
Collapsible and Space-Saving
A big trap can take up a lot of space in your shed or garage when you aren't using it. That's why Havahart® offers a large-sized trap that folds away for better storage. It's easy to collapse, and easy to put together when you're ready to set it up. No trap is more convenient.
Safe for You and the Animal
For You: A solid door and handle guard protect you from contact with a trapped animal, and the carrying handle allows you to hold the trap away from your body while an animal is inside.
For the Animal: A strong door lock keeps the animal safely in the trap, while smooth, rolled internal edges prevent injuries to animals as they are being transported or as they struggle to escape.
Havahart® Traps are Built to Last
Havahart® builds the strongest, most durable traps with premium materials, intended to endure harsh weather and unpredictable animal behavior. Traps are constructed of industrial-strength, one-piece wire mesh, which is galvanized for maximum resistance to rust and corrosion. A solid door and steel reinforcements add to the durability of the trap, ensuring an even longer trap life.

Review RateAwesome Collapsible Cat Trap!!There are outside cats that I'm feeding that I needed to fix. Driving 1.5 hours to borrow cat traps was a nightmare...so I decided to buy my own. These traps are awesome! Easy to assemble and held strong for the cats I caught to be fixed. Ty so much!
Review RateExcellent productThis is exactly what I needed, arrived quickly, and easy to store. I needed time with the instructions to set it up, but if you follow them, it does work. Looks durable enough to be used for years.
Review RateWeak spring, too much play in the lockI like the storage convenience of the folding design. In testing the trap out, I noticed that the spring was not quite strong enough to shut the door as quickly and vigorously as I would like. I successfully trapped an animal last night, but as I was about to recover the trap, the animal was able to push hard enough against the door that it was able to squeeze out underneath the door. It looked to me that there was just enough play between the door and the locking mechanism to provide a little clearance at the bottom. An inward closing door - one hinged at the top, but closing from inside the trap - would reverse this geometry such that an animal pushing on the door from the inside would be acting to close the door even more tightly, thus preventing an escape. For smaller, less powerful animals, the existing design is fine.Response From Havahart®Kelly : Consumer Relations RepresentativeThank you for taking the time to share this feedback about the design of the trap. If the animal is not able to be relocated soon after it is trapped we would recommend covering the trap with a blanket or some brush to help keep it calm.

Review RateNailed him in under one weekI ordered the large trap because I had a large groundhog that was tearing up my garden. The trap arrived the next day. I caught a raccoon in two days and got the groundhog on the sixth day. I successfully relocated him to a remote wooded area. My only complaint is that the instructions were unclear on how to engage the trip rod into the latch mechanism. I ended opening up the "eye" on the trip rod and threading it into the "eye" on the catch. By the way, I caught him with canteloupe. He had already eaten most of the butternut squash in my garden so I thought he might be tempted by something new!
Review Ratebest trap for beginnersl bought this trap at tractor supply and 2 nights after that i caught a little raccoon, it is good for beginners bc it is easy to use.
Review RateAwesome Product!I bought this 1089 model from home depot yesterday to control the population of groundhogs in my yard. I setup the trap at 12 noon and caught the first groundhog at 4 O clock, No wonder this is such a good trap I higly recommended this.
Review RateDid the JobPicked this up at Home Depot for the list price to catch a raccoon that had been spreading mulch all over the lawn and evidently eating roots and my cat's food if accidentally left out at night. Initially had to bend the triggering rods some to get a good release of the door, but then it worked great. Caught a cat on the 1st night. It was unbelievably aggressive. It took a few days to lure the raccoon into the trap with cat food and bacon. Finally dropped some bacon crumbs outside leading in and got him. This raccoon was the opposite of the cat. It was so calm and never made a sound. He just looked at me like he was very embarrassed to have been caught as I drove him to his new home. I had to coax him out and he just casually trotted away. Putting trap back away now until needed again.
Review RateThe Great EscapeOne of our indoor cats, Rocco, got out of the house through window with a broken screen. The poor little guy was outside for three nights. We knew where he was, but he was so scared (actually terrified) we couldn
