It’s usually not too difficult to detect a rodent problem in your home; telltale signs include scratching noises coming from behind the walls, gnaw marks on bread wrappers and other food packaging, the presence of tiny round droppings, and small footprints in dusty corners. You may also notice a damp, musky odor in certain areas of your home.
Rodents carry numerous diseases that can threaten the health of you and your family. Fortunately, in my role as a live animal control professional, I’ve discovered how to get rid of rats and mice effectively with the help of Havahart® products. For instance, I’ve had great success catching mice with the Havahart® X-Small 2-Door Trap. This trap contains two gravity-action doors that enable the mouse to enter from either side, and the sensitive trigger results in a quick, secure and humane capture.
