Live Animal Traps

Live animal traps are an effective means to catch unwanted critters in the act. Havahart® animal traps come in a wide variety of shapes, configurations and sizes to match your needs.

Electronic Repellents

Electronic repellent devices aid in conditioning an animal to stay away from your yard. They are non-invasive, non-poisonous alternatives to chemical and potentially harmful pesticides.

For pests that stray onto your property, Havahart® offers the Spray Away and the Electronic Repellent for Deer.

The Havahart® Spray Away is a heat and motion activated water repellent that chases wild animals away from landscape and gardens by detecting an animal with infra-red sensors. Once detected, the electronic valve releases a three second burst of water from an attached garden hose. Water spray is broadcast up to 35 feet to protect a 1,000 square-foot area.


The Havahart® Electronic Repellent for Deer attracts deer short range by luring those that have already wandered into your property. Simply place a few drops of the scented deer lure onto a cotton ball, install the batteries into the head unit, snap the post together, and stake it in your yard. When properly placed near a deer path, the lure will attract deer to the posts. Upon contact, the deer receive a gentle static shock, training them to stay off of your property.

Other Strategies

Some easy strategies to employ in addition to the afore mentioned would be to:

• Modify the garden - remove the food source, cover, or block other attractions for critters.
• Use scare tactics - a dog or cat can do the trick, visual imitations of predators, sounds, shiny pie plates, dog or human hair.
• Create barriers - fencing or netting.
