Before consumers go searching in their gardens or backyards for pesky critters, they can search for solutions online at Havahart.com (http://www.havahart.com/). Havahart®, which manufactures caring animal-control products, has launched a new Critter Control Product Guide that helps consumers learn more about nuisance animal problems and how to control them.
Using the interactive guide, consumers search for a solution three ways: by animal, by trap or by repellent.
• Search by Animal: This tool is for consumers who know what nuisance animal is causing their problems. Clicking on a critter’s photo reveals the repellent and trap solutions specific to that animal. The guide includes more than 15 animals - raccoon, deer, skunk, squirrel, rabbit, mouse and more - many with informative audio and video links that help consumers learn important details about specific animals. For instance, raccoons are noted as one of the most difficult animals to control due to their curiosity and persistence.
• Search by Trap: This section allows consumers to browse Havahart live animal traps by size: extra small (mouse and vole, for example), small (rabbit, squirrel), medium (skunk, opossum), large (raccoon) and extra large (stray dog). For those not sure what size trap is needed, an illustrated list of animals appears below each size of trap. Explanatory videos are available for all traps.
• Search by Repellent: Here consumers can browse Havahart repellents by brand name:
